Jamie lives in Perth, Western Australia, and is lived experience lead for the project. Jamie has extensive experience in mental health and eating disorder consumer representative work. She is a member of the Mental Health Network Eating Disorder Subnetwork Steering Committee and has collaborated on other research projects with Associate Professor Sarah Egan. Jamie has a lived experience of an eating disorder. She has a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Creative Advertising and is studying post-graduate psychology. She has studied trauma informed care and has a particular interest in complex childhood trauma and its links to youth mental health, eating disorders and chronic illness. Jamie is excited to combine her background in mental health and design to develop creative, accessible, and trauma informed solutions to mental health issues.

Associate Professor Sarah Egan lives in Perth, Australia, and works in the enAble Institute and School of Population Health, Curtin University. Her main research interest is evaluating Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) for perfectionism in relation to anxiety, depression and eating disorders, an area she has worked on for many years with Professor Roz Shafran and Professor Tracey Wade. A/Prof Egan has presented workshops and invited addresses throughout the world, and has published over 115 peer-reviewed scientific journal articles, and 6 books/book chapters. She has worked as a clinical psychologist for over 20 years and is a Fellow of the Australian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (AACBT) in recognition of distinguished contribution to the advancement of CBT knowledge, practice and extraordinary contribution to AACBT, which she served on for 20 years. Dr Egan was the chair of the World Congress of CBT committee for 8 years and was the first president of the World Confederation of CBT. A/Prof Egan has published many peer reviewed journal articles on the understanding of eating disorders in children and adolescents.
Professor Roz Shafran lives in London, UK, and is Professor of Translational Psychology at University College London. She is
Professor Roz Shafran lives in London, UK, and is Professor of Translational Psychology at University College London. Professor Shafran has published over 200 peer reviewed scientific journal articles in the field of loneliness, perfectionism, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and eating disorders across the age range. She is the recipient of many awards and recently was the first recipient of the Eric Taylor Award for Translational Research Into Practice Award given by the Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health. Professor Shafran has been awarded as a fellow of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy, and the Distinguished Contribution to Psychology from the British Psychological Society. Professor Shafran has received a significant amount of grant funding and funding for training clinicians in a range of areas and written three CBT self-help books. She is a co-author of the trandiagnostic theory of eating disorders.
Professor Tracey Wade lives in Adelaide, Australia and is the Matthew Flinders Distinguished Professor of Psychology at Flinders University. She is the director of the Flinders University Services for Eating Disorders and conducts research across a range of clinical settings as well as in schools, with over 280 peer-reviewed scientific journal articles. She has co-authored three books describing CBT for perfectionism with A/Prof Sarah Egan and Professor Roz Shafran.
